I am livid!
Friday, May 15th, 2009I am so annoyed! For the past week my Lexmark X6170 printer has been warning me that the black ink was running low. So today, being shopping day, I dutifully added the item it to my shopping list of things to buy at the local big discount department/grocery store. Having shopped around town for the best price on printer ink, I found that was the best prices on the ink for my printer. I have had the printer for several years now, and it is well out of warranty. It has certainly earned its keep!
Well, I paid $34.00 for that one black ink cartridge. The color ink cartridge costs $40! I just gritted my teeth and bought it. After all, I needed it, right? Well, today I found out that I could have bought appropriate printer cartridges for my printer online at CastleInk.com for only $19.95! And the color cartridge for only $22.95! And the website says that any orders over $39 get free shipping!
Well, as you can imagine, I’ll be ordering my ink from there the next time my printer is giving me a warning message! I could have saved a bundle of money!
