Do you believe everything you read?
Saturday, June 13th, 2009Do you believe everything you read? I sure hope not! There is a lot of misinformation out there; especially on the Internet! It seems that almost anyone can put up a slick web page and fill it full of misinformation and reel in a lot of gullible people! Really is quite sad to see how many cases there are like that. Take for instance, a website that is promoting free samples of a product. The offer is for a free fourteen day supply of a miracle product – all you have to do is pay for shipping.
What they don’t tell you is that although you have ordered a free fourteen day supply, they actually ship you a thirty day supply, and if you don’t return the unused sixteen days within the first two weeks of ordering the free trial fourteen day supply, they charge you $87 for the entire bottle! So you can TRY it for fourteen days, but if you like it and keep it, you actually PAY for the entire thirty days. You never get the fourteen days for free unless you return the unused portion before the first fourteen days are up! What a sleazy scam! Be careful out there!
