Someone named Craig is on my “dog house list.” I’m trying to be polite and not use the curse word I would prefer to use – but in the interest of keeping this a family-oriented blog I will not use that word. Although it is hard to do right now! It appears that this joker Craig went online and filled out some kind of form indicating that he wanted various mortgage companies to call him with low-interest refinancing offers and he used MY telephone number as a contact number! So now MY phone is ringing off the wall with mortgage companies trying to help this joker refinance his house! This really is NOT funny at all!

A few months ago my older sister told me that I should think about buying one of the new netbooks.  I didn’t even have a clue what a netbook was!  She had just bought one a few days before that and she was thrilled to pieces about it.  She said it was so small and light that she could tuck it into her purse and take it with her everywhere she went.  She really likes being able to swing into one of the many places that have free wi-fi and check her email or write a few blog posts.

She said she had done some price comparison between the brands and found that they were all very close in price range.  She chose to buy the ASUS Eee PC series and suggested that I buy one too.  I’m going to take a look around and see what else is out there before I make a commitment to that one, but I will take into consideration how much she likes hers.  If I buy one like hers and have problems with it, she might be able to walk me through the problem.
