Improving our appearances

Up until a few months ago, I think I felt that the baby-boomer chase for eternal youth was a silly ego thing.  I’ve been letting my hair go gray; I’m one of the lucky ones whose complexion looks good with the “salt and pepper” look.  But recently I’ve noticed that my upper eyelids are drooping a lot, and I don’t like it one single bit!  They didn’t used to do that, so I have to assume that it is an age-related condition.  I’ve started to use special eyelid serum that is supposed to “lift” them without the need for surgery, but to be honest I really haven’t noticed much improvement.  I wonder how long it is supposed to take before I notice an improvement!  And I wonder if I DO notice an improvement if it will all be imagined because I WANT to see an improvement?

My cousin Sara sent me an email this morning, telling me that she is looking at having a tummy tuck done.  She sent me the link to the website of the company she is thinking about using: tummy tuck UK.  I went to the website to check it out.  It is to the MYA Clinic; they have over 25 years of cosmetic surgery experience.  I was glad to learn that!  Experience is important!  I was reading about the tummy tuck procedures that they do – a partial and a full.  I was surprised to learn that in a full tummy tuck they remove the navel and then create a new one!  How interesting!
