No one got busted
Well, the party went over with a bang! (Pun intended!) My hubby and brother set off a ton of fireworks; they were pretty but not as great as we were led to believe they were. We had invited a couple of friends who brought over a couple of bottles of wine and I had two (yes TWO) glasses of wine. I don’t usually drink any wine at all, and if I do drink wine I usually only drink one glass. But the timing was spaced out, and I drank one of the glasses while eating dinner so I didn’t get “tipsy.”
Anyway, the fireworks went off without a hitch, and no police officers came to haul anyone away. While we were shooting off our fireworks, our neighbors were all shooting theirs off too. It was quite a display! Everyone seemed to have a good time; maybe we’ll do it again next year!
