Seat belts

I think that seat belts save lives. I know a lot of people would disagree with me, and a lot of people hate them, but I have always thought seat belts were a very good safety tool that should be used. When the state passed the mandatory seat belt law, I thought that was a good idea, but was disappointed when they said that it would not be a primary law.

They could only ticket you for not wearing it if you were pulled over for another reason. Now they’ve changed that, they CAN pull you over simply for not wearing it and give you a ticket. I think that is a good thing, and I hope that gets more people to wear seat belts.

    I agree with you completely! I know a few people that have been in car accidents that would have been badly injured, or killed if they had not been wearing their seat belts!
